Why would God make a world
Where we all look, feel,
And believe the same?

What would cause the learning?
What would challenge our ability
To love?
To accept?

And be as one

The divisions call us to build bridges
The differences scream for acceptance

Unconditional, God-centered love
That’s what calls us together

Who will answer the call?

There are times like these
When I wonder what it is all for

I look in your face and
I see the soul of another
I have come to love so much

But I look at the path
That lies before us – and ask
Where is it leading us?

I question not us – or our longevity

But, why have we come to be?
How will our lives complement and
Deepen the souls of which we’re made

When I make choices that are consistent with
Who I am
What I bring
Why I’m here

I live more fully
I live more freely

I am able to accept your choices
Who you are
What you bring
Why you’re here

Being more fully me
Allows you to be more fully you

We not only co-exist
We co-create
